This pattern is a 2 for 1 pattern pack! For the price of one shawl you’ll get two versions, the DK weight version & the Fingering Weight version.

The right side uses approximately 70% of the total yarn and the left side only approximately 30%.

This is a great project for gradient yarn (used on both right and left side or just on 1 side) or even partial skein leftovers too beautiful to toss. You could use one color for the right and another for the left or use 1 yarn throughout. The options are almost endless!

Design Features:

This shawl is worked from the bottom up on the right side and becomes larger with increases, though the rows never get too long. When the right side is complete, the stitches along the straight edge of the triangle are picked up and the left side is worked in easy garter stitch short rows (no wraps to pick up here).

The design features an optional keyhole. This is especially helpful for the smaller DK weight size, making it easy to keep the shawl in place without the need for a shawl pin.
