Tan House Brook Hat
The Tan House Brook Hat has been designed to coordinate with the stitch patterns in my most popular shawl design- the Tan House Brook Shawl. It is worked from the bottom up, with varying stitch patterns to keep you interested. It is written to be a bit slouchy (and includes notes on where you can revise the pattern to make it more fitted).

About the Name
Tan House Brook meanders through our property, adding movement and texture to the context of our land in the same way that the different patterns in this hat and in the shawl do for the simple stockinette and garter stitches that border it.
