Go with the Flo
Go with the Flo is a sideways knit crescent formed with garter stitch, stockinette, ridged stockinette on the right and left side of a center lace panel and edged with a mock i-cord stitch that provides a neat, polished edge.
The pattern is written as a recipe that allows you to make the most of a precious skein of yarn (or you can use the details from my sample to follow it exactly as I did).
Yarn
This pattern can be customized to use almost any commercially available or handspun yarn. Recommend a minimum of:
-
600 yards (550 meters) or 150 grams of fingering weight
-
350 yards (320 meters) or 135 grams of DK weight
-
400 yards (366 meters) or 185 grams of worsted weight
Gauge
Gauge for this project is not critical. You will need a scale to weigh your yarn before starting and while working on this project. Reserve approximately 40% of yarn for the right side, 15% for the center and 40% for the left side.

About the Name
The design is inspired by my beautiful, strong, resilient Aunt Florence, who, at 90 years young, is still learning new things and challenging herself. I admire her willingness to change with the times and be open to all the excitement this world offers.
