In football, the kicker can get his team an extra point after each touchdown is made by sailing that ball through the uprights. That 1 extra point is sometimes the difference between winning and losing. Right now, we know you’re thankful for every little point and we want to help you cash in. Typically, small projects (less than 100 yards) don’t count for a touchdown – only for a field goal here in the Pigskin Party. But we also know that many of you want to whip up that little amigarumi, ornament, gnome or potholder that takes only a little bit of yarn.
Give yourself and your team 100 points for each small project (min 25 yards: less than 100 yards) you complete. To be eligible for extra points, a project must be started no earlier than 11/1/20 and completed no later than 12/25/20.
Limit 5 projects per player (500 total bonus points).
Post each of your projects in this Extra Point Challenge thread in the Ravelry Group, or on Instagram, so we can oooh and ahh over them, and maybe add some items to our queues. Then, submit a Points Tally form to claim your 100 points by selecting Non-Project Points > Extra Point Challenge. You will need to reference your Ravelry thread post number, or your IG post URL. You can also submit a second Points Tally form for each item to claim all of your regular Completed Project points.
