6th Annual Splash Pad Party: May 28- July 31, 2021

Low-key summer Make Along focused on small, portable projects perfect for toting along to the splash pad, pool, beach, park or playground (or wherever you happen to find yourself this time of year).
Participants earn entries for prize drawings by knitting or crocheting 50-200g projects and of course there are options for additional entries if you use sponsor products.
No weighing projects. For this KAL/CAL we’re keeping it easy. Round up or down: if you use the majority of a 50g, 100g, 200g skein count it as such. I’m not bringing my yarn scale to the pool, so I don’t expect anyone else to either.

Sponsor Spots Available

Pro Shop Sponsors are given the opportunity to sell exclusive items before & during the KAL. This is the paid option ($50 for Splash Pad Party). There are a max of 20 spots per KAL. Pro Shop sponsors receive 1 free 30 second promotional ad on the Down Cellar Studio Podcast, and first selection of Virtual Vending Spots for the Kick off Weekend Saturday May 29 & 30th.
Snack Shack Sponsors will donate prizes but will not be sell KAL Exclusive products. This is free option and there are unlimited spots. Snack Shack Sponsors may sign up for any available Virtual weekend spots available after Pro Shop Sponsor Sign Up.

Note: All Sponsors are required to contribute at least one prize with a minimum suggested value of $20. Prizes must be posted in the Down Cellar Studio Ravelry Group with a short description. Physical prizes will be mailed by the sponsor directly to the winner after being contact by Jen with the details. Some prizes are given away during the event, and some after it has concluded.

Interested in a 30 second ad on the Down Cellar Studio Podcast? There are spots available at the rate of $20 each. Ads are limited to 4 per episode to make sure your ad stands out. I’m happy to work with you to customize the text if you need some assistance.

Splash Pad Party Virtual Kick Off

In 2020, we kicked off both the Splash Pad & the Pigskin Party KAL events with a virtual kick off. Sponsors may sign up for time slots during which they can do an Instagram Live, YouTube Live or Zoom meeting to discuss whatever topic they like. This can be for promotion, to teach a new technique, just to knit and chat with participations- totally flexible. This is optional, not required of sponsors. That said, it’s a lot of fun and a great chance for our participants to get to know you and your business.
